Unlike your routine dental cleaning, periodontal therapy (scaling and root planing) cleans beneath your gums and involves two main steps:

1. Scaling:We carefully remove plaque and tartar from the tooth surface
2. Root planing: We clean the roots of your teeth, smoothing them to remove bacterial toxins

We will ensure your comfort throughout the procedure and offer this treatment with or without laser therapy and anesthesia, depending on your preference. If necessary, we can split your deep cleaning over 2 appointments.
